About

I am an Information Manager who has lived in various states of Australia, including NSW, Victoria and Western Australia.

I’m an avid traveller and have a deep fascination for the extreme, including Antartica. I once lived in a Ford Transit van for about four months while travelling around Europe in 2004. My husband and I travelled from England right down to Greece (by land), back up to Norway and back to England. And then we needed to finish off the jaunt by visiting Scotland and Ireland. You might read some of my stories from that adventure on this blog.

I dabble in riding a yellow Ducati Monster 600. My interest in them has increased since Casey Stoner (an Australian) started leading the world motor bike grand prix on a Ducati.

I also have an interest in leadership and all techo things related to libraries and intranets.

The picture in my banner was taken while on a billabong (I used to think billabongs were small, like a dam, until I journeyed around this one) in the Northern Territory, at a very HUGE cashew farm whose border is adjacent to Kakadu National Park. This picture represents exterme serenity, even though a crocodile eyed us off while we were fishing, and the fact that we still have the ability to escape from all the confines of our life, including technology, and remember how humans can survive without all that “other stuff” in life.
